ZOOM - All About Fair Housing

Online ZOOM Meeting

This course includes topics pertinent to fair housing in today's real estate world. Students will understand fair housing laws and discriminatory practices by studying the history of the Fair Housing Act from 1787 to today. Including the ground breaking Civil Rights Act of 1968, the 1988 Amendments Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the 2012 HUD Equal Access Rule. An overview of fair housing in property management, banking, insurance and advertising. With an update on the enforcement process and the 2016 expanded civil penalties.
